Direct connection – best practice
Upload data about your charging network automatically and in real time
This is the most reliable option that we recommend to all our partner networks. Direct connection (OCPI) means you can upload comprehensive, precise data on your charging points without following an updating procedure. You can therefore rest assured that the current data about the number, status and occupation of your charging point connectors is posted at all times. This precious increase in terms of reliability will be much appreciated by your (future) clientele.
Via a roaming hub
Going through an intermediary hub (Gireve or Hubject)
If your network is registered with a roaming hub, you can also use this process to connect your network to the Chargemap platform. You should note that it may take longer for your data to be updated and hub connection costs may be invoiced.
Manual listing
Add your charging stations by contributing to Chargemap
Although this solution is time-consuming, you can list your network of charging stations manually by creating a Chargemap account. Once registered, go to the Contribute tab to access the form for creating a charging pool. Your requests are then examined by our team of moderators before being published on the Chargemap platform.

No, listing your network’s charging stations on the Chargemap platform is 100% free of charge if you opt for a direct connection or manual listing. You may be invoiced for connection costs by an intermediary roaming hub like Gireve, if you go for this solution to be listed on Chargemap.
For the technical set-up of the direct connection by our teams, allow one day if the implementation of the OCPI protocol is properly finalised on your side. You will also need time to draw up and legally validate a direct connection contract. Once the connection is in place, data updates (new stations, tariffs, etc.) are automatic and instantaneous.
The Chargemap Partners interface will soon propose a premium version unblocking advanced features. Among others, you will be able to customise various items on the charging pool detail screens on Chargemap.
